Getit Local Search iPhone App Launched

Getit, which is an Indian information search service, has launched its app for iPhone, iPod touch, and the iPad onApple's iTunes Store. The new app provides you instant access to information such as restaurants, hotels, medical services, etc.

Getit lets you search for any information such as a restaurant, air conditioner mechanic, plumber, real-estate agent, taxi-cab, educational institute, cinema hall, etc at any odd hour. It uses the GPS in the iPhone to pinpoint your location and make use of this location information to provide relevant results. The best thing is that the app not only provides you details such as telephone numbers, you can even make a call or mail an inquiry right through the application interface. It also lets save your search results under Favourites for future reference. For a free app with a size of just 4.1 MB, it is worth a try.
