Google X With Android 5.0.1 Shows Up In AnTuTu Benchmarks

The rumors surrounding the upcoming Motorola X phone just refuse to die! Starting from a LinkedIN job posting, to hardware customization, to a Sapphire Glass display and what not.
Today, we add another rumor to that list, as a leaked screenshot has surfaced online, which shows the AnTuTu benchmark scores of the upcoming smartphone. The image also reveals that the Motorola X Phone might indeed be known as the Google X.
Though there is no authenticity to the leaked benchmark scores, but considering that the rumors surrounding the X Phone have been looming in thee air since quite some time now, we are forced to believe that the smartphone is well in the works.
As per the leaked screenshot, the Motorola X Phone will be running on Android 5.0.1, currently being dubbed as Key Lime Pie. Android 5.0 is expected to be unveiled next month at Google’s I/O event and previous rumors have suggested that the launch of the X Phone will be delayed till August as well. So, the rumors of the X Phone being a Key Lime Pie running smartphone might well be real.

One fact that does question the authenticity of the leaked screenshot, is that the score itself doesn’t look like one from a Snapdragon 800 running processor. Still, as Phone Arena points out, the scores might be taken with a test version of the smartphone.
Previous rumors have suggested that the X Phone will be available in over 20 color options. Earlier this month, an anonymous said that contrary to previous rumors indicating a June/July launch for the Motorola X Phone, the launch date has now been pushed back to August which means that the  smartphone will most probably not show up at Google I/O.
As for the specifications for the Google X (or the Motorola X Phone), they are still far from confirmed but some previous rumors have suggested that the smartphone will come with a 4.7-inch 1080p display, which would be made out of “Sapphire Glass”, which is almost three times harder to crack than the Gorilla Glass.
It’s also being said that the X Phone will be made with rubber bumpers, while the back will be made of carbon fiber and the smartphone would be powered a 2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, which is undoubtedly one of the most powerful CPUs available for smartphones in the market today.
Other specifications of the rumored device include a 4,000mAh battery and IP57 certification, which means that it will be water and dust resistant as well.
