This news will surely bring a big grin on your face if you’re an Apple fanboy! Upcoming versions of two of the hottest selling Apple products- The iPad and the iPhone have been spotted online is separate leaks.
Some leaked images have emerged online which reportedly show the components of the upcoming iPhones. The report first appeared in the French blog Nowhereelse.fr, and claims that the images show speaker components for two future iPhone models- the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 6. It is being said that these images were taken by an employee of the company which manufactures parts for Apple.
Though there is no proof about the authenticity of these images, but it is being said that the French blog has been quite accurate with it’s leaks in the past. However, to prove the authenticity of the images showing the speaker components, one of the images in the report compares the speaker module of the iPhone 5 to the supposed speaker modules of the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 6.
The blog says that the source who provided these images also claims that Apple will launch two variants for the iPhone in 2013, one of which would be launched between March-July, while the other would be unveiled by the end of this year.
Apart from the iPhone, rumors surrounding the Apple iPad 4 have also started hitting the web. It is being said that Apple is all set to beef up the storage inside the iPad 4 and launch a 128GB version of the 9.7-inch tablet. Well, that is more that surely more storage than you’ll ever need on your tablet.
9to5Mac claims that it has got a word from it’s sources that the Cupertino-based giant is readying an additional variant of the fourth generation iPad but is not yet sure if the model would be available for retail sale in the market and suggests that it might be possible that the new variant is only available for select organizations. The report says,
The website has released an image shoeing the SKUs that it claims to have gotten from it’s source at a “high profile US retailer”. As seen in the image, the four new models are supposedly the Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi+cellular models in black and white color each. Currently, the fourth generation iPad comes in three storage options- 16GB, 32GB and 64GB, which are described as “Good”,”Better” and “Best”. Considering this, one can safely assume that the “Ultimate” mentioned along with these leaked models refers to a beefed up storage capacity on the device.
The rumors of Apple building a device with 128GB of storage space first surfaced just a while back, when a developer who goes by the name iNeal on Twitter managed to find a 128GB system partition key in the Build Manifest of iOS 6.1 beta 5.
