Commenting on the launch, Vikram Kalia, GM- Product Management, Intex Technologies (India) Ltd. said:
“The most important feature for any home theater system is high quality sound. Consumers have become more demanding and are looking for a device that not only comes at an affordable price but also gives rich audio experience. We are very excited to introduce the Sound Bar range which will redefine the total sound experience. It literally converts any television into a total home entertainment system.”
“Sound bars are becoming popular in India and are a good match for flat-panel TVs as they provide much better sound than the tiny speakers built into those sets. Their sleek designs perfectly complement the styling of the latest plasma and LCD displays. Going forward we intend to pursue market opportunities in lifestyle audio products in both personal and commercial segment.”
Features include a CLASS D Audio Amplifier, and instant Low Power Radio (LPR) based 2.4GHz wireless interface between the sub-woofer and sound bar. Designed to handle the diverse power conditions available in India, the Sound Bar Marvel 250 has SMPS based power supply design. It features panel buttons, as well as a remote control.
