T-Mobile Expands 4G Data Plan to Walmart - No Contract

Attention Walmart shoppers: good cell deal here!
ZoomWalmart will begin selling T-Mobile's 5 GB data plan beginning October 16. For $30, consumers can tap into T-Mobile's "4G" network and receive a bandwidth allowance of 5 GB (2G speed thereafter) as well as unlimited texting and 100 minutes of talk.
T-Mobile charges 10 cents for every minute after those 100 minutes. The plan will be sold in-store at more than 2200 Walmart locations as well as online, T-Mobile said.
In addition, the plan will be offered without a contract requirement. T-Mobile will also be offering six new phone models to Walmart customers. The offering of 4G access will be tied to Walmart's first 4G prepaid phone, the carrier said.
T-Mobile currently offers only two subscription plans with smartphones that are offered via Walmart. There is an $80 per month plan that includes unlimited talk and text, but only 2 GB of data. A $140 family plan includes unlimited shared minutes and the option to add additional lines for $50 each.
