Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 to be unveiled at MWC next month?

There’s a long list of devices tipped to be unveiled during the Mobile World Congress next month in Barcelona and adding to the same list is Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 which according to rumors, is all set to be announced during the MWC.
The report first appeared in SamMobile and the website claims that the device codenamed GT-N5100, which appeared earlier in the GL Benchmark reults is actually the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 and will come in two configurations- the GT-N5110 Wi-Fi only version and the GT-N5100 3G + Wi-Fi version. Also, now it seems that the earlier speculation of the device sporting a 7-inch display isn’t the case.
Leaked specifications of the device suggest that it will come with an 8-inch Super Clear LCD display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is expected to sport a 5 megapixel rear camera along with a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera. Though there is no word on the processor as of now,  but we can expect the Note 8.0 to come with a Exynos 4 quad-core processor or maybe, if Samsung  really wants to kill the competition in one go, it might slap in the new Exynos 5 Octa processors in the device, but we guess that’s being too optimistic!
The Galaxy Note 8.0 will also come with 2GB RAM and just like other tablets, it’ll have two storage options- 8GB and 16GB, but unlike a lot of it’s competitors, the tablet will support a micro-SD card slot for storage expansion. To give the users maximum runnin g on the device, Samsung make put-in a 4600 Mah battery in to the Galaxy Note 8.0 abd for connectivity, it’s expected to come with Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0, A-GPS and Wi-Fi.
The leaks also sheds some light on the dimensions of the device, which are expected to be 211.3×136.3×7.95 mm and also, the weight which should be around 330 grams. As for the OS, we can easily expect the device to be running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, by the time it surfaces.
Nothing has been said about the pricing of the Galaxy Note 8.0 yet, but if Samsung really hopes to dent the sales of other tablets like iPad Mini and Nexus 7 with 3G, expect the tablet to be priced anywhere in between $300-$350.
