Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro price dropped to Rs. 20,000

Sony Ericsson has slashed price of its Xperia Pro smartphone by around Rs. 4,000. TheSony Ericsson Xperia Pro is now selling for Rs. 20,030 at online retail store flipkart.com, while infibeam.com is offering the Xperia Pro at Rs. 19,999. Earlier, the device was selling for 25k.



To refresh your memory, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro is an Android 2.3 Gingerbread-based smartphone. The smartphone is powered by a 1GHz processor and has 512 MB of RAM. The Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro sports 3.7-inch TFT Touchscreen, 8.1MP primary and 0.3MP secondary cameras. It has a 1,500 mAh battery, which is rated to deliver talk time of up to 6 hours on 2G and 7 hours on 3G. On connectivity front, the Xperia Pro supports GPRS, Bluetooth, EDGE, Wi-Fi, DLNA and 3G. The Sony Ericossn Xperia Pro is among the few SE smartphones to be scheduled to receive the latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade. This fact, along with the price cut of the Xperia Pro, has definitely heated up the 20k smartphone segment.
