Android Nougat Open Beta 8 now available for OnePlus 3

Good News for OnePlus 3 users. The company has finally rolled out Android Nougat Open Beta 8 forOnePlus 3. Earlier this month, OnePlus said that it will release the beta version of Android Nougat this month with the stable build to be released next month.
Note that, you will have to flash this version manually (no OTA) even if you are running on previous betaversions. Also, once installed you cannot go back to Marshmallow without resetting the Operating System. For that, we would strongly recommend you to contact the OnePlus support to help you install the previous stable build again. This new beta 8 brings in all the features from Android Nougat such as new notification design, new settings menu, multi-window view, notification direct reply, custom DPI support etc. Apart from this, OnePlus has also included a bunch of extra features including status bar icons, quick launch for third-party apps, and new customizations for Shelf.
Further, since this is a beta version, there will be bugs. Also, OnePlus apparently revealed that Android Pay may not work properly on this build. Apart from that, we expect some stability and performance issues as well.
Nevertheless, it's good to see OnePlus sticking to its words which would mean that we might see the stable Nougat build for our beloved OnePlus 3 next month as mentioned by the company before. If you can't wait for the stable build, you can download the .zip file from the link given above, or else wait for the official stable build which would be pushed via OTA (Over-The-Air) sometime next month. Also, we would not be surprised if OnePlus release Android Nougat beta for OnePlus 3T in the coming week.
