If you are one of the millions in India, who are just amazed with the kind of specifications that the Micromax Canvas HD packs-in and can’t wait to get your hands on the device, Well, we have some bad news for you! Sources familiar with the situation have confirmed to iGyaan, that the Micromax Canvas HD will experience a slight delay in it’s launch and the smartphone would be up for retail sale only by February-end.
Though our source didn’t divulge in much details, but the main reason for the delay is said to be the the supply issues Micromax is facing due to the Chinese New Year. Some of the part suppliers for Micromax are based in China and thus, have slowed down production due to lack of manpower at present owing to the Chinese New Year.
It is being said the as soon as the festivities in China get over, the production will begin again in full-swing, allowing Micromax to launch the Canvas HD comfortably in the market. Well, it seems that the phrase “Good things come to those who wait” seems quite legitimate in this case!
But, don’t be disappointed folks! We have some good piece of news for you as well. Remember, when we told you about Micromax’s plans to launch thirty new smartphones this year? Well, a few of those thirty smartphones might as well be unveiled by the time the canvas HD hits shelves.
