Micromax A27 Ninja budget Android phone goes on sale for Rs. 3,399

Phone boasts of 3.5-inch screen, dual-SIM and Swipe 'n' Share feature.

Micromax has expanded its portfolio of inexpensive Android smartphones with the new A27 Ninja that is now available online. Online shopping site Saholic is selling the A27 Ninja for Rs. 3,399 while Flipkart also has it in stock for Rs. 3,499.
The Micromax A27 Ninja is an Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) smartphone powered by a 1GHz Spreadtrum processor and 256MB RAM. It sports a 3.5-inch display with a resolution of 480x320 pixels and 160MB of internal storage expandable up to 16GB with a microSD card. The A27 Ninja supports dual-SIM and offers Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.
Unfortunately, Micromax hasn't included 3G support with the Ninja and you'll have to make do with EDGE connectivity. The A27 also boasts of a “Swipe 'n Share” feature that lets users share apps and multimedia content with multiple Android devices with a single swipe. The phone also has a 1400mAh battery that Micromax claims will give you 4.5 hours of talk-time.
Earlier this week, Micromax also released the A89 Ninja, another Android budget phone but one running Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). The Micromax A89 Ninja is also available in India for Rs. 6,190.
