Sony’s upcoming flagship device, the Xperia Z is probably the worst kept secret since the Nexus 4. Every now and then, we’ve had some rumors surfacing about the device and it’s speculated launch during the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) which starts tomorrow in Las Vegas. Finally, it’s confirmed that the device is indeed showing up during CES as Engadget has released a picture which shows the Xperia Z at Sony’s booth at the Las Vegas Convention center.
The Sony Xperia Z is rumored to sport a 5-inch full HD display, which is now almost a standard for every flagship device which gets launched this year. The device is expected to be powered by a Quad-core Qualcomm APQ8064 processor with Adreno 320 graphics and running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The Xperia Z will most probably come with a 13 megapixel camera and a water resistant body.
One of the distinctive features of the Xperia Z might be it’s rumored support for SDXC card, which if turns out be, will allow the storage on the device to be enhanced by up to 128GB. Other than that, the device is expected to come with 2GB of RAM and it is being said the back of the device would be made from Glass, just like the Nexus 4, which would surely add to the premium-ness of the device.
Well, all the speculations are about to end as the Consumer Electronics Show starts in just over 24 hours and you’ll know everything about Xperia Z that you wanted!
