Samsung Galaxy S4 benchmark results hint at Exynos 5 Octa Core processor inside

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S4 is arguably the most anticipated device of of 2013, and the immense success of Galaxy S3 has just fueled the anticipation. Every now and then, some rumor regarding the Galaxy S4 would pop-up, with the latest being that the upcoming flagship device from Samsung might be powered by the Exynos 5 Octa-core (8-core) processors, which the South Korean electronics giant showcased during CES earlier this month.
According to the latest online reports, Samsung Galaxy S4 has been spotted in AnTuTu benchmark results and if the scores are anything to go by, Samsung might have just put those Octa-core processors inside the upcoming flagship device. Reports suggest that AnTuTu benchmark devices was performed on two mysterious Samsung devices, one of them was British while the other was Korean bearing the identifiers, GT-I9500 and SHV-E300S respectively. Both these identifiers have been previously associated with the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S4.
The results reveal that the Exynos 5 processor was clocked at 1.8GHz and the Galaxy S4 itself was running on the latest version of Android- 4.2.1 Jelly Bean. Though no other details have been revealed in the benchmarks, but we can easily expect the S4 to come with 2GB of RAM and a 13 megapixel rear camera, which seems to be the benchmark for flagship devices in 2013.
Though initially, it was being rumored that the Galaxy S4 would be powered a quad-core processor but if these benchmark results are indeed real, manufacturers like Sony and HTC are in for a real tough time. There is no confirmed release date for the Galaxy S4 as of now, but we surely know that it won’t surface before May 2013.
