D-Link Announces 16 TB Home Cloud NAS

D-Link's latest NAS comes with a built-in web file server and a secure FTP server to provide file access over the Internet.

The Cloud Storage 4000 can be equipped with up to fourth 3.5-inch HDDs for a total capacity of 16 TB of storage space to cover the needs of a home cloud solution. According to the manufacturer, the device can hook up to D-Link's cloud cameras and turn into a network video recorder and playback device.

It also creates a portal that can be accessed via iOS, Android, Blackberry, and Microsoft Mobile OS products. Filesharing is enabled via the integrated ShareCenter application. Two-way data syncing is supported as well.

The NAS is available for $450.
