Microsoft to release Windows Phone Tango in June


Anonymous source states that the Windows Phone Tango is currently with the mobile operators for the approval and can be expected in early June.

Microsoft is expected to release the Windows Phone 7.5 Refresh aka the Tango update sometime later in June this year. The Windows Phone 7.5 Refresh update is meant for the low-end and entry level smartphones. First wave of the Windows Phone 7.5 Tango will be made available in China soon. A Windows centric Spanish blog, which quoted reliable sources, claimed that the Windows Phone 7.5 Tango launch will take place in June.
Microsoft has promised improved performance of the Windows Phone operating system with the Tango update, besides some premium finish and phenomenal features.
The source who wishes to stay anonymous said the Windows Phone Tango update is ready and currently is in the process of approval with mobile phone operators. This update is expected to arrive in early June this year.
Some of the novel features of the Windows Phone Refresh aka Tango includes new Location-awareness icon and better multimedia messaging. Several other fancy features of the Windows Phone 7.5 Mango won't work or will be limited based on the hardware packed on a particular device.
Nokia Lumia 610 is one of the early Windows Phone 7.5 Refresh aka Tango based device that is expected to arrive in Indian shores for Rs 11,000 only.
