HTC starts rolling out One X update, fixing battery life and other issues

HTC has started rolling out its OTA update for the HTC One X, firmware version 1.28.401.9, and it should become gradually available globally.
The 1.28.401.9 update fixes the few problems we noticed in our HTC One X review, such as poor battery life, instability of HTC Sense UI, and overheating, apart from some other bug fixes, such as hardware button issues.
Users will be able to check if an OTA update is available for their devices, by looking in the Software Updates section of their HTC One X’s settings – the update will not affect any user data, and is 30MB in size.
Post the update, some sites have reported better overall performance – with an AnTuTu score of 11,290. It had posted 9857 on AnTuTu in our benchmarks, before the update.
