If you've been exasperated at Apple not launching the new iPad in India, here's your chance to get your fingers on one. Tradus.in is selling the new iPad, 16GB, Wi-Fi only in black for Rs.36,799. This is an 8 percent discount or Rs 3,191 short of the original selling price of Rs.39,990. Here is the Tradus.in page to buy your new iPad. If you didn't already know, the new iPad comes with Retina Display (which, in addition to making things look prettier, is also easier on your eyes), an A5X chip and 10 hours of battery life. It has a 9.7-inch display with 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution. It has a 5 megapixel iSight camera in the back, which supports 1080 video recording with audio at 30 frames per second.

The audio formats supported by the music player are: HE-AAC (V1 and V2), AAC (8 to 320 Kbps), Protected AAC (from iTunes Store), MP3 (8 to 320 Kbps), MP3 VBR, Audible (formats 2, 3, and 4, Audible Enhanced Audio, AAX, and AAX+), Apple Lossless, AIFF, and WAV. The video formats supported by the video player are: H.264 video up to 1080p, 30 frames per second, High Profile level 4.1 with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; MPEG-4 video up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels.
