Now book Air India tickets through your mobile

Using the application, you can now book AI tickets from anywhere and at anytime.

Indian domestic and international flight operator, Air India has announced the launch of its mobile phone booking facility using which passengers can book tickets and pay for them right from their mobile phones. Air India has tied up with India based mobile commerce service provider, Ngpay, to make the mobile booking facility available to passengers throughout the country.
Using this service, Air India passengers can book flight tickets from the one time downloadable application powered by Ngpay right on their mobile phones. Users can book their desired flight tickets and pay for them using a variety of payment options including credit or debit card and even through net banking.
Mobile payment and booking option for flight tickets simply means that the customers will not have to go to the ticket counter to book tickets for the flights which at times is a big hassle. Also this saves customers' much valuable time as now they can book tickets at any time and from anyplace.
To make use of this service you are required to SMS 'ngpay' to 56767 and download the free Ngpay software through the link provided in the confirmation SMS that is delivered on the user'sGPRS enabled cellphone or smartphone.
To book a ticket, you simply need to choose the flight and the date of journey. Using various payment methods like credit cards, debit cards and net banking, users then can make the required payment. Once the booking and payment transaction is complete, the customer is informed about the ticket by SMS which will have details about the booked ticket like flight number, reference (PNR), and an Itinerary Ticket Receipt (ITR). You will also get the confirmation of the booked ticket with all the above details on the e-mail ID you have provided during booking.
You can take the hard copy of the booking reference email or can also show the SMS, along with a photo ID proof, at the Air India counter for a copy of the ITR to enter the airport and for issuance of boarding pass.
