Nokia Lumia 610 coming to India for Rs 11,000

Affordable price of Nokia Lumia 610 does not mean that it will be a phone with low end hardware specifications.

Nokia, in the last few months, has been pressing the gas for its Lumia devices and now to add power to it, the Finnish mobile device manufacturer is getting ready to launch an affordable Windows Phone, named Lumia 610.
While talking to The Mobile Indian, Nokia India's marketing director, Viral Oza said, "We will be launching Lumia 610 soon in the Indian market and at an affordable price."
He didn't reveal the exact timeline of the launch but we can expect Nokia to launch Lumia 610, based on Windows Phone Tango, in next two months for around Rs 11,000.
Lumia 610 will be the cheapest Windows Phone based device in the Indian market followed by stable mate, Nokia Lumia 710, which is priced at Rs 15,500. Affordable price of Nokia Lumia 610 does not mean that it will be a phone with low end hardware specifications as it will sport a 3.7-inch display with a resolution of 800×480 and will use a Qualcomm 800 MHz processor. This 3G phone will have a capacitive touch screen.
It will also include a 5 megapixel camera with 8 GB of onboard storage. Besides, the Lumia 610 will come preloaded with Nokia apps like Nokia Music, Nokia Maps, Nokia Drive, and will be available in four colours - White, Black, Magenta and Cyan.
