A new image of the Xperia Nozomi, the much-anticipated dual-core phone from Sony Ericsson, has found its way to the web, supposedly an official render. Certainly, it looks like the white Sony Ericsson Xperia Nozomi device we’d nearly a month ago, with the last leak.
The latest leak is not accompanied by too many details, with specifications visibly truncated from the render (check out the image below). The words “Dual-co” however can be spotted printed alongside, indicating the dual-core processor that has been expected. Under camera, the figures “1920x” are visible, indicating 1080p HD recording, as expected.
You can check out our previous coverage of the Sony Ericsson Xperia Nozomi LT26i to take a comprehensive look at the expected specifications, and more images. Briefly, what’s known so far – 4.3-inch (1280x720 pixel) HD display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM, 12MP camera, the Xperia TimeScape UI, along with Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread.
Considering that the Nozomi might release at MWC 2012, the device might be the company’s first Ice Cream Sandwich device, and possibly the first solely-Sony mobile, without Ericsson. Of course, Nozomi at this stage is most probably a codename, and the device is expected to launch with a different model name - maybe even Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc HD.
