Nokia Shows Off Device Controlled via Flexible Display


We've seen flexible displays but what about displays that are controlled by the way they're flexed?
This past January at CES, we got to see Samsung's flexible OLED displays in action and were pretty impressed. Nokia last week showed off its own implementation of flexible displays at Nokia World in London and this prototype is way more interesting. The device includes a flexible display and a user interface that is controlled by the flexing and bending of said display. The Nokia kinetic device is a touchscreen prototype that flips through songs, pictures and albums when twisted, and zooms in and out or pauses and plays music when bent inwards or outwards.
