Leaked images of Sony Ericsson Xperia Nozomi LT26i surface

In the beginning of October, we reported that Sony Ericsson had two handsets in their line-up, which were all set to compete with the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. These handsets - the Nozomi and Aoba have not yet been announced and there has been very little to go by, except for their names. This seems to have changed to a slight extent as live images of the Sony Ericsson Nozomi LT26i have surfaced.

According to a blog post by Justamp, the site shows the neat looking handset and a few screenshots showing the interface, as well as system information of this yet to be announced smartphone. The Nozomi LT26i has 4.3-inch screen sporting a resolution of 1280 x 720 and runs on a 1.5 dual core processor. It also features a 1.5GHz dual core processor, along3 with a 1GB RAM. As far as the camera goes, there is a front-facing camera and a rear camera, but there is no information on how many megapixels each of these shooters possesses. In the images captured, this handset is running on Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread.

The Sony Ericsson Nozomi is really a looker and, hopefully shortly after it is announced it should get Ice Cream Sandwich on board to compete with the Galaxy Nexus. Let us know your reactions regarding this yet to be announced handset from Sony Ericsson.
