Now more competitive with the other guys.
Microsoft today launched a new price plan for its Zune Music service. The new unlimited streaming pass is $9.99 per month, which gives on-demand access to more than 14 million songs and tens of thousands of music videos.
The new $9.99 pass will replace the $14.99 plan, which also included 10 monthly MP3 credits. However, current subscribers can stay on their existing $14.99 Zune Music Pass plan if they choose and will also have access to continued download credits and streaming music videos.
Coming along with the new change is the expansion into Canada, which offers the same $9.99 monthly service or $99.90 for an entire year. Like in the U.S., the service can be used on Xbox 360, Windows Phone, Windows PC, Zune devices and Zune.net.
