Corsair releases the Carbide Series 500R to go along with the Carbide Series 400R case to fill the gap between the 400R and the Graphite Series cases
The 500R is available in two color combinations: graphite gray and arctic white. The 500R measures 20.5" x 8.1" x 20", supports ATX and mATX motherboards and is equipped with eight expansion slots. It features a front I/O panel with USB 3.0 (x 2), FireWire (x 1) and audio (x 2) ports, four exposed 5.25-inch bays, and removable 3.5-inch/2.5-inch drive cages. 500R can support up to a 17.5" graphics card with removal of a 3.5-inch/2.5-inch drive cage.

Cooling is provided by one 200mm side panel fan, two front-mounted 120mm fans, and one rear 120mm fan a side panel, along with a multi-channel fan controller to controller the up to four fans. The 500R provides support for a 240mm dual radiator for those users keen on water-cooling setups.
The Corsair Carbide Series 500R comes with a 2 year warranty and is available from authorized retailers worldwide at a suggested retail price of $139.
